A wild update appears!


Hey everyone,

I noticed some major slowdown in the later stages of the game; turns out Godot's Particle2D nodes don't clean themselves up when they're done emitting particles, and I forgot to include them in the "clean these up every warp" object group. Of course I had left a very helpful comment in the code, telling me that particles will be cleaned up. Everything's fine!

Except it wasn't, and the invisible Nodes just piled up into the tens of thousands off screen, bogging everything down.

That's fixed now, and the game should remain smooth!
